Barrier Island Station Kitty Hawk resort for the week of August 30 -September 6-2009.  Four bedroom unit with maximum occupancy of 10 and private occupancy of 10.    The unit has a full kitchen and is fully fitted with all the necessities and luxuries alike. We've supplied linens, towels, silverware, pots & pans, cooking utensils, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer, blender, and just about anything else you could think of.  All units have a VCR or DVD player.  Beach is less than a half mile with private parking.  For more information and pictures go to bistation.com

The unit has 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 2 Twin beds, 1 sleep sofa and 2.5 baths. 

The resort offers a large array of amenities including the Barrier Island Fun & Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is the largest, most complete workout facility on the Outer Banks. The state of the art equipment includes thirteen circuit training machines, four treadmills, two stair steppers, two Schwinn air dynes, two recumbent cycles, and a complete line of free weight equipment. Aerobics programs for beginning through advanced participants are taught by certified aerobics instructors.

Aquafit classes are also offered in the heated indoor pool and conducted by certified instructors. A spacious whirlpool, separate steam rooms and dry saunas for men and women, and a massage therapist are available as well. Two certified personal trainers are also on staff to assist in tailoring workout programs for individuals specific needs and goals.

For those wanting to spend their time out of doors, playing hard will be made easy on one of the resort's tennis, basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, and badminton courts. Other outdoor activities include hiking trails and an Outdoor "L" shaped Olympic-sized swimming pool designed for laps or recreational swimming.

The recreational area also includes a large gazebo with restrooms, showers, changing facilities and a snack bar for convenience  There is a full-time recreational director on site year round that offers planned activities for adults and children.

Area attractions include the Wright Brothers National Memorial, the Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, and Roanoke Island Aquarium.
