Smoketree Lodge is surrounded by an abundance of activities. For downhill skiing, visit Sugar Mountain, Hawksnest, or Beech Mountain, all two to eight miles away. The more adventurous can go white-water rafting, hike in the mountains, or play a round of golf on one of several courses close by. After an active day, relax by the resort's indoor pool and whirlpool, ending with a visit to the sauna.
