Alaska may not spring to mind when you think of vacation, but if you know anyone who has visited you are filled with wonder and amazement and want to plan a trip for yourself. Another area, only a half hour drive south of Anchorage is Girdwood. Girdwood is home to the envy of hotels, Westin Alyeska Prince Resort. This star attraction has a tram that takes sightseers high up Mount Alyeska for an incredible view.
